Dr. Laura Barfoot graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009 and holds an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. In addition to her chiropractic training, Dr. Barfoot has also taken continuing education courses that focus on running injuries, running analysis, neurodynamics, spinal stenosis, lumbar disc injuries and muscle therapy treatments including Active Release Therapy and Graston technique. Dr. Barfoot started Bruce County Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center in 2009 with the goal of creating a multidisciplinary team that could help patients achieve their rehabilitative goals.

Lindsay Cartwright graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2017 where she obtained her Master of Science in physiotherapy. She also holds Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Since becoming a physiotherapist, Lindsay has taken additional training in acupuncture, exercise-based treatment for osteoarthritis, and paediatrics, including treating torticollis, plagiocephaly, and toe-walking. Lindsay is passionate about working with people of all ages, from helping babies meet their motor milestones to helping older adults recover from injury, and everything in between.

Dr. Carley Cook graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2011 and holds an honors Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of Windsor. In addition to her chiropractic training, Dr. Cook is certified in clinical acupuncture through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program. She has also taken continuing education in muscle therapy treatments including Active Release Therapy and Graston technique. Dr. Cook happily treats patients in all walks of life. She enjoys variety in her practice and getting to see all types of injuries from the neck and low back to hips, shoulders, knees, ankles, TMJ, and others. Dr. Connor Critchfield completed his undergraduate education at the University of Windsor Ontario where he attained a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree. Upon completing his degree, Dr. Critchfield went on to attend Northeast College of Health Sciences (Formerly New York Chiropractic College) in Central New York and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2023.

Dr. Dreyer is a certified provider of Functional Integrated Acupuncture and has taken additional courses in soft tissue release therapy, kinesio taping, extremity adjusting, and treatment of disorders of the temporomandibular joint. She has had experience in a variety of settings from rehab hospitals and intensive care units to multidisciplinary clinics. Jessica prioritizes a patient-centered approach, creating an inclusive environment and has a keen interest in helping you achieve your goals. Her approach involves a combination of hands-on techniques, specialized exercise programming and education.

With a background in varsity swimming and being a national lifesaving athlete, she is no stranger to setting goals and looks forward to working with you to achieve yours. Brock completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. He then pursued a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. His clinical placements which involved hospital settings and university clinics gave him a broad scope of practice and fostered a keen interest in postoperative rehabilitation, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, and the treatment of various musculoskeletal injuries. Brock has continued to pursue continuing education completing his certification in Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, as well as courses in Active Release Therapy, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, Myoactivation scar tissue release, lumbar spine and peripheral nerve injuries, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, as well as courses related to the treatment of athletic injuries and return to sport. Brock believes in a patient centered approach to treatment. He does this by enabling his patient to develop their own goals for treatment and working with them to achieve those goals through manual therapy, prescriptive exercise, therapeutic modalities and patient education. Katy earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto (2015) after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo (2009). While Katy enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, she has particular interest, and advanced training in, vestibular rehabilitation (treating dizziness/imbalance), concussion management and persistent pain.

In recent years Katy has been particularly interested in the treatment of myofascial pain patterns. She uses myoActivation – an innovative approach used to assess and treat myofascial dysfunction and movement impairments, which can be highly effective for a number of sub-acute and chronic pain conditions. Emily is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University and is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Before her physiotherapy education, she achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2018.

Emily’s passion for movement and health began playing sports and regularly engaging in physical activity at a very young age. Since then, she has continued this passion through her education and active lifestyle. With Emily’s personal and educational experience, Emily can help clients restore, maintain and optimize physical function using a client-centered, active, and evidence-based approach. Emily is a strong believer in “exercise is medicine”, and this motto is reflected in her treatment style, which focuses on exercise, education and hands-on-techniques.

Since graduation, Emily has worked in both the private practice and hospital settings and has experience treating clients with a variety of neuromuscular, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal injuries or conditions. In particular, she loves working with athletes and active individuals of all ages that are aiming to get back into a sport or an activity they really enjoy. She has her Level 1 in Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and has education and experience in treating sports injuries on and off the field.
